Project Overview & Context
Black Stone delivered the complete turnkey fit-out of the Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank (ADCB) Sales Hub in Smouha, Alexandria, taking the space from a raw concrete shell & core to a fully operational, CBE-compliant smart retail banking facility.
Works encompassed civil demolition, structural floor level adjustments, VRF central air conditioning, fire alarm and suppression systems, secure cash counters, security glazing, and high-end imported marble and joinery finishes.
The Engineering Challenge
The branch was situated on the ground floor of an inhabited luxury residential building in Smouha. Municipal and building rules restricted noisy work strictly between 9:00 AM and 4:00 PM (7 hours daily) with zero weekend activity permitted. Additionally, concealed defects were found in the building's drainage stack above the branch ceiling.
The Black Stone Solution
Eng. Abdou Hasaballah stationed 3 resident site engineers and orchestrated 13 specialized technical squads to run non-noisy trades in parallel. When substandard sub-ceiling pipes were discovered, Black Stone voluntarily replaced and hydrostatically tested the entire drainage section, guaranteeing zero risk of future water leakage over banking servers.
